3 Days safari to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Tarangire

Upon your arrival at the airport you will meet your representative guide with your name on the signboard he will pick you up and transfer you to Arusha for your overnight at Outpost Lodge.

Day 01: Arusha – Lake Manyara

Drive from Arusha or Moshi to Lake Manyara National Park, which takes about 4 hours. After having a picnic lunch in Manyara, you start a late afternoon game drive, which is the best time to view animals in this park. When you approach it from the East Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive back droid to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, on the escarpment elephants stand in the shade of a baobab. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and others.

Day 02: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drives about 7hrs in the Crater, exploring the short-grass plains, Lake Magadi of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, hippo and many more games.

Later you will ascend to the top and proceed to the campsite for overnight

 

Day 03: Tarangire National Park – Arusha

Drive to Tarangire National park, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, and cheetah and up to six thousand elephant.

Drive back to Arusha or Moshi in the evening.
