Explore the elephant-rich landscapes of Tarangire National Park, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, and connect with traditional communities around Lake Eyasi.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park (~2.5–3 hours, approx. 120 km).

Spend the day exploring this beautiful park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Expect to see a variety of wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and an impressive number of bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park followed by an afternoon game drive before heading to Karatu (~1.5–2 hours).

Day 2: NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater (~30–45 minutes). Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive in this incredible natural sanctuary.

With one of the highest densities of wildlife in Africa, the crater offers excellent chances to spot the Big Five. You may encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and if lucky, the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater floor before ascending in the afternoon and returning to your lodge for relaxation.

DAY 3: LAKE EYASI CULTURAL EXPERIENCE THEN RETURN TO ARUSHA

After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi (~1–1.5 hours). Spend the morning exploring local communities such as the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Learn about their traditional lifestyle, hunting techniques, and daily activities in an authentic and respectful setting.

This cultural interaction offers a rare opportunity to experience one of the last hunter-gatherer communities in Africa.

After the experience, begin your journey back to Arusha (~3.5–4 hours), where you will be dropped off at your hotel or airport for your onward travel.
