Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA – RELAX & PREPARE
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or pickup in Arusha, you will be warmly received by your driver-guide and transferred to your lodge.
Enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by lush gardens, take time to rest after your journey, and get ready for the adventure ahead. Your guide will brief you about the safari and answer any questions you may have.

DAY 2: DRIVE FROM ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park (~2.5–3 hours, approx. 120 km).
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park’s diverse habitats, where you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of birdlife.
Picnic lunch will be served inside the park, followed by an afternoon game drive before heading to Karatu (~1.5–2 hours).

DAY 3: KARATU TO NGORONGORO CRATER THEN SERENGETI
Start early with a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Crater (~1 hour). Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s most unique wildlife areas.
Often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, flamingos, and the rare black rhino.
After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, continue your journey towards Serengeti National Park (~3.5–4.5 hours drive). Enjoy wildlife sightings along the way as you enter the endless plains of Serengeti.
Arrive in the late afternoon with an en-route game drive before heading to your camp.

DAY 4: SERENGETI – FULL DAY GAME DRIVE – RETURN TO KARATU
Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, the best time to witness predators in action as the sun rises over the plains.
Spend the morning and part of the afternoon exploring the rich wildlife areas of Central Serengeti, including the famous Seronera Valley, known for its high concentration of big cats.
After lunch, begin your journey back towards Karatu (~5–6 hours drive), enjoying game viewing along the way as you exit the park and pass through the Ngorongoro highlands.
Arrive in the evening for relaxation and dinner.

DAY 5: MTO WA MBU CULTURAL EXPERIENCE – RETURN TO ARUSHA
After breakfast, enjoy a short cultural experience in Mto wa Mbu (~30 minutes drive).
Here, you will explore local life, interact with the community, visit small farms or markets, and learn about Tanzania’s rich cultural diversity. It’s a beautiful and authentic way to end your safari.
After the activity, drive back to Arusha (~2–2.5 hours), where you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel for your onward journey whether to Zanzibar or back home.
