Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park (~2.5–3 hours, approx. 120 km).
Enjoy a full-day game drive in this beautiful park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. You may also encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, and a wide variety of birdlife.
In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu (~1.5–2 hours) for your overnight stay.

DAY 2: KARATU TO CENTRAL SERENGETI
After an early breakfast, begin your journey towards Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro highlands (~4–5 hours’ drive).
Enjoy scenic views and an en-route game drive as you enter Central Serengeti. This region is known for its year-round wildlife and high concentration of predators.
Arrive in the afternoon and continue with a game drive before heading to your camp.

DAY 3: CENTRAL SERENGETI – NORTHERN SERENGETI
After breakfast, depart for Northern Serengeti (~4–6 hours’ drive), following the migration routes.
This journey is more than just a transfer—it’s a full game drive through changing landscapes, from open plains to riverine areas.
Northern Serengeti is famous for dramatic river crossings (seasonal), where wildebeest face crocodiles as they cross the Mara River.
Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a short game drive.

DAY 4: FULL DAY IN NORTHERN SERENGETI (MIGRATION EXPERIENCE)
Today is dedicated to experiencing the Great Migration in Serengeti National Park.
Spend the day tracking herds of wildebeest and zebras as they move across the plains. With some luck, you may witness a dramatic river crossing one of nature’s most intense and unforgettable moments.
Your guide will position you in the best possible locations based on herd movement.

DAY 5: NORTHERN SERENGETI TO CENTRAL SERENGETI THEN KARATU
After breakfast, begin your journey back through Central Serengeti (~5–6 hours’ drive), enjoying wildlife sightings along the way.
Continue towards the Ngorongoro highlands and descend to Karatu for overnight (~2–3 additional hours).
Arrive in the evening for relaxation after an incredible migration experience.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER THEN MTO WA MBU CULTURAL TOUR BEFORE RETURN TO ARUSHA
After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater (~30–45 minutes) and descend for a half-day game drive.
Enjoy close encounters with wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, and possibly the rare black rhino.
After lunch, proceed to Mto wa Mbu for a short cultural experience if time allows.
Later, drive back to Arusha (~2–2.5 hours) for your drop-off or onward travel.
