MAGS TRAVEL AND TOURS AGENCY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
Welcome to Mags Travel and Tours Agency Ltd! We’re excited to guide you on your journey to discover the beauty and culture of Tanzania. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Bookings & Payments
➢ Immediately After confirming a booking with us, you’ll receive a confirmation Email with a full itinerary which is agreed between our client and Our Company.
➢ Your booking is confirmed once a minimum deposit of 30% of the total tour price is received.
➢ The remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days before the tour begins.
➢ We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and mobile money platforms (e.g., Pesa Pal, M-Pesa, Airtel Money).
3. Cancellations & Refund Policy
A: 45+ days before tour: 100% refund of the deposit.
30–44 days before tour: 50% refund of the deposit.
29-15 Days prior your tour start: Loss of 75% of the amount deposited.
14 days or less prior a tour starting day: Loss of a full Amount deposited (exceptions
may apply in cases like serious illness or emergencies, evaluated case by case).
B: Tour Postponement Guarantee
We understand that travel plans can change. If you’re unable to travel as scheduled, you have the option to postpone your tour and reschedule for a later date using the funds you’ve already paid.
- No penalty for postponement (if requested 7+ days in advance)
Your payment is 100% safe and transferable - Rescheduling allowed within 12 months
Subject to availability and seasonal pricing adjustments - We are committed to flexibility and transparency your trust is our priority.
4. Changes to the Itinerary
➢ Clients can request changes to the itinerary up to 15 days before the tour.
➢ The company reserves the right to make minor adjustments (such as accommodation or timing) due to safety concerns, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances, while maintaining overall tour quality.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers:
- Medical emergencies
- Trip cancellations
- Travel delays
- Lost luggage
- Emergency evacuation
6. Health & Safety
- Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs.
- All guests are required to follow safety instructions given by guides, especially
during wildlife tours, hiking, or adventure activities.
7. Visas & Travel Documents
- Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents.
- We are happy to assist with information on visa processes or entry requirements, but final responsibility lies with the traveler.
8. Force Majeure
Mags Travel and Tours Agency Ltd is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Political instability
- Pandemics or health outbreaks
- Government regulations or travel bans
9. Liability Disclaimer
While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure your safety and enjoyment, Mags Travel and Tours Agency Ltd is not responsible for:
- Personal injuries
- Loss or damage to belongings
- Incidents occurring due to actions beyond our control
We encourage guests to remain vigilant and follow safety guidance at all times on Safari with us, to ensure the minimal risks of the Mentioned above.
10. Complaints & Feedback
Your experience matters to us and we want to assure you that we strive to make it Unforgettable and Exceptional. If something does not meet your expectations, please inform us:
- Immediately during the tour so we can address it on the spot, or
- Within 3 days after the tour ends by contacting our customer service and Writing

11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising shall be resolved amicably where possible, or through competent legal channels if necessary.
Air Travel Cancellation Policy
1. Airline Fare Rules
- All ticket cancellations are governed by the rules and conditions of the respective airline.
- Refund eligibility and amounts are determined by the fare type purchased (refundable, partially refundable, or non-refundable).
2. Cancellation Fees
- Airlines may impose cancellation penalties, rebooking fees, or fare differences.
- In addition to airline charges, Mag’s Travel and Tours Agency will apply a service fee of:
❖ USD 20 per passenger for international tickets.
❖ TZS 50,000 per passenger for domestic tickets.
3. Non-Refundable Tickets
- Some promotional or discounted fares are strictly non-refundable, in such case, no refund will be issued under any circumstances.
4. Refund Timeline
- Refunds will be processed in accordance with the respective airline’s refund policies and timelines.
- The agency has no control over the duration of the refund process.
5. No-Show Policy
- Failure to check in or board a confirmed flight (“no-show”) will result in the forfeiture of the entire ticket value, unless otherwise permitted under the airline’s rules.
6. Agency Limitation
- Mag’s Travel and Tours Agency acts solely as an intermediary between passengers and airlines.
The agency is not liable for any airline-imposed restrictions, delays, or refusal to refund.
NOTE: All payment must be done through mags travel and tours agency ltd bank accounts.
